ABOUT JASTEN KINGA man of many talents, Jasten King can be found behind the DJ booths at the Burgundy Room, the Faultline or Revolver, which coincidentally runs his video montage work round-the-clock. Some nights you’ll catch him trying out new material at LA’s comedy hotspots. Other nights he’s at screening some of his films like “Ouroboros” – winner of the 2013 Hump! Festival or the new transgender documentary, “Finding Kim“. The lure of music can drag him on to stages with the bands he’s played guitar for or fronted. Sometimes it all comes together like in “CHARLIE! The Death of Nancy Fullforce” (Los Angeles Fringe Festival’s “Best Musical” 2011), the Alt-Rock murder mystery musical he wrote and starred in and is currently adapting to a screenplay.
Chances are if he’s not doing one of the above, he’s at home – passed out in the loving embrace of his precious Pug, Miss Squid.
